Marine Educative Area "Generation 8" : PA2F intervention

Marine Educative Area

On Friday, April 3, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation (PA2F) visited the CM2 class at the Institution François d’Assise–Nicolas Barré.

After a brief review of key concepts related to climate change, the presentation focused on the Foundation’s main areas of action.

These include supporting projects dedicated to protecting biodiversity, preserving water resources, and developing renewable energy to combat climate change. The Foundation supports initiatives worldwide, particularly in the Mediterranean and polar regions, as well as wherever environmental challenges demand action.

The second part of the session was devoted to real-life case studies. Students explored concrete climate change issues such as biodiversity loss and water scarcity. They were invited to think about possible solutions before comparing their ideas with the initiatives supported by the PA2F.

Highly engaged, the students showed great interest in the case studies. Most of the solutions they proposed aligned closely with the actions actively supported by the Foundation.

Through this session, the class discovered that, through PA2F, Monaco takes tangible action for the planet, far beyond its borders.

Program supported by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Government of Monaco.
