On Tuesday, September 30, Dr. Alexis Pey from the consultancy Thalassa Marine Research & Environmental Awareness presented the ecological assessment of the MEA to the CM2 class of the Institution François d’Assise – Nicolas Barré.
Conducted in 2019, this report provides a “health check” of the site. It inventories the species and habitats present, as well as the human pressures likely to impact the AME.
Curious and motivated, the students showed great interest in scientific diving, particularly in data collection methods. They have already started to imagine concrete actions to help reduce pressures and contribute to the fight against climate change, the central theme of their school year.
