Marine Educative Area "Generation 7": MEA discovery in class

The school year begins, marking the arrival of a new generation of students in charge of Monaco's Marine Educative Area (MEA)!

This morning, the AMPN team was welcomed by the 7th A class of Saint-Charles School, who will be responsible for the MEA during the 2024-2025 school year.

The students learned about the concept of MEA, its origins, and the preservation efforts carried out by the six previous generations since 2018.

At the end of this meeting, "Generation 7" chose the theme "Know better to protect better." The students will take on the role of scientists, studying the fauna and flora of the MEA in greater depth to propose appropriate management measures.
