Monaco bus shelters announce the MAPN photography exhibition
Events
To celebrate its fiftieth anniversary, the Monaco Association for the Protection of Nature (MAPN) is launching a new digital billboard campaign visible at several bus shelters across the Principality until November 9, 2025, thanks to the valuable support of the Mairie de Monaco.
It highlights the photographic exhibition that our association will present at the Galerie des Pêcheurs from November 7, 2025, to January 4, 2026. Through archival images and recent photographs, this retrospective will trace half a century of commitment to Monaco’s marine heritage.
Structured around six main themes — protecting, developing, restoring, studying, innovating, and educating — the exhibition will showcase the many actions carried out by the MAPN:
- the creation and management of the Larvotto and Spélugues Marine Protected Areas,
- ecological restoration programs,
- scientific monitoring and research programs,
- as well as awareness-raising activities conducted with the public and young generations.
A wonderful opportunity for residents and visitors of Monaco to (re)discover 50 years of effort and passion dedicated to the sea.
H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, His Government, His Foundation, and the Town Hall of Monaco actively support all these initiatives.
