AMPN’s 50th anniversary displayed on Monaco’s bus shelters

On the occasion of its 50th anniversary (1975–2025), the Association Monégasque pour la Protection de la Nature (AMPN) is continuing its awareness campaign with a digital display showcased at 10 bus shelters throughout the Principality, running until July 20, 2025.
This display, made possible thanks to the invaluable support of the Monaco City Hall, enables AMPN to highlight the missions that have guided its work for half a century:
- Protecting the marine ecosystems of Monaco’s two Marine Protected Areas, Larvotto and Spélugues,
- Studying biodiversity through research programs combined with innovative technologies,
- Raising awareness among the public and schoolchildren about the richness and fragility of the Principality’s marine natural heritage.
This vital visibility helps to remind people of AMPN’s role as the manager of Monaco’s Marine Protected Areas and the Educational Marine Area, and encourages everyone to contribute, in their own way, to environmental preservation.
